Pimm’s is a spicy, sweet gin-based British liquor. It is the popular choice in the UK and has started to become popular in the US.
It was created in the mid-late 1800s by the English oyster bar owner James Pimm. The Pimm’s Cup was originally a tonic created to help with digestion due to its secret ingredients of different liqueurs and herbs. It was later re-branded into the beverage that it is known for today.

Ingredients
1 1/2 ounces Pimm’s No. 1
3 ounces ginger ale lemon soda or lemonade
long thin slice of cucumber
1-2 thin orange slices
- 1-2 mint leaves
- Ice
Steps
In a shaker,
- In a shaker, add ice, Pimm’s and the ginger ale. Shake until chilled and then strain over a full glass of ice.
- Garnish with cucumber and orange slices.
- Add the mint leaf.
